Battling The Spirits of The Mind

by Verelyn Newton

The mind is a powerful thing. Every thought or thing a man doeth under the sun begins with the mind. Before we speak the mind must conceptualize what need to be said; before you lift a finger or the hand the mind must tell you to do so. So what can we do under the sun without the mind? If everything that we do, speak, mimic, sigh or non-verbalized begins with the mind; one can now determine that the mind is controlled by different entities. These entities are known as spirits. Yes! Spirits, be it good or bad they are spirits. Ephesians 4:23 tells us to" be renewed in the spirit of your mind;" for this reason, I in HIM - Holy Spirit Vessel (HSV) will be expounding on the word of truth hidden in Christ on "Battling (overcoming) the spirits of the Mind." Commit yourself to the leading and teaching of the Holy Spirit and renew the spirit of your mind.
More to come... HSV.

Battling the Spirits of the Mind
by: Sis Lawrence

To God be the glory for such a topic as this. The leader and/or forerunner of our actions is truly "The Mind." Thank God for Jesus who gave us The Holy Spirit to help us, guide us, comfort us, teach us, pick us up, when the mind gets the better of us. Because of daily transformation of the mind (Rom. 12:2), we have a lively hope that we will not be conformed to this world (Rom 8:5). For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. God bless us as we seek to grow higher in Him by allowing the Holy Spirit to take control of our thought life(Prov. 23:7). As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Let us think true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Phil. 4:8).
